So by now you have probably heard the rumors about this palette. That it's "un-blend-able" and "the fall-out is unlike you've ever seen". Well, I bought the NEW Subculture Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills for $42 and in all honesty I like it! I know what your thinking, "how can I like it, if so many people hate it"? I really don't know why so many people dislike this palette. I didn't find it hard to use or a struggle to blend. The only other reason I can think of that has so many people "hating" this palette is maybe sheep-brain. Sheep-brain is a term I use when people like or hate something based of if other people like or hate the same thing. So if you see all of your favorite bloggers or influencers saying they all hate something, and you starting hating a product too just because they do. Well then maybe you are suffering from sheep-brain too. I don't think there is anything wrong with sheep-brain, but I do think people should try something themselves and develop their own thoughts on it.
I have posted my tutorial using the palette with great detail from start to finish. While using the palette I didn't experience some of the negatives that others did.
I didn't experience:
excessive fallout
harsh unblended lines
.. but I'd like you to take a look at the video and let me know what you think. Is it just me or is this palette is getting a bad rep because people are over exaggerating to hype negativity? I don't know but let me know what you think ... Leave a comment
